Today, while getting our car serviced nearby, we walked to El Taquito for lunch. My wife had the 1/2 order of shredded beef tacos (2) with rice and beans and I had the Picadillo burrito (ground beef, onions, tomatoes and cheese). Both of our meals were delicious. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. Our food was also delivered quickly. The restaurant is small, but nice.

The food is always amazing at this hidden gem! Super authentic, fresh, and tasty! Can't give this place enough stars!

The food is authentic and so delicious. It's the first place I come to every time I'm in town. The gorditas are my favorite. It's a classic diner vibe with reasonable prices and great service.

Shortly after I sat down at a table, Natalie approached and, with a cheerful voice and big smile, she greeted me. Having never seen the menu at El Taquito before, I had hoped to have enchiladas and was disappointed to learn that they do not have them. Natalie gave the suggestion of chilaquilles as a similar flavor option. I ordered them along with chips with guacamole (made to order) and salsa. Natalie cautioned me in the heat of the fresh out of the oil chips as she placed them and the guacamole and salsa on my table. Oh they were yum! Natalie checked on her customers regularly and made me feel at home without any rush to be done and leave. It was so refreshing. I enjoyed listening to music from the 80s in the background. Overall, I would recommend this place---especially if you can get Natalie as your waitress!!!!

Good food, came in during lunch but my order was taken quickly. The posted 3 Flatuas deal for check-in is not valid here, dissapointing. The waitress said it had been 3 years since they honored that deal.

With so many Mexican restaurants in El Paso, we're so happy we chose this one! We ordered a potato, egg, chorizo, and avocado burrito breakfast burrito and a breakfast plate, and both were incredible. They both totally hit the spot. The breakfast plate came with a side of refried beans which I'm not usually a fan of, but theirs were surprisingly good and really added to the meal. The real standout was the mango smoothie it was to die for, especially on a hot day! It really is a must to complement the meal. The prices were also very reasonable, which made the experience even better. If you're conflicted on where to grab breakfast, this place is definitely worth it!

This little hidden gem. I have driven past this place many times and never realized it was there. It's a small place but the attention you receive when you walk in the door makes it feel like family. The food is cooked to order so be patient but was worth every bite. You can customize options and the price point is affordable for small parties and families. Did I mention cooked and made fresh even the guacamole

Totally surprise myself by picking this for the team! We wanted breakfast but not my team's choice so I'm happy this one turned out great! This is a great find and I would definitely recommend going here! First time I've had a Torta and I liked it alot! That will be my option to try at future restaurants. The Guacamole was by one of the best I tasted! Chips were freshly made and were delivered to the table hot! The server and staff were amazing and always asking if we needed anything. Lots of memorabilia on the walls and worth checking out.

Loved everything, great salsas , authentic mexican food , amazing service by Nathalie she is such a sweetheart, great place nice and fresh . The barbacoa burrito was delicious. Real horchata water . Milanesas torta didn't disappoint me , they have fresh made tortillas chips.

This place never disappoints. It's repeatedly rated high by locals for very simple reasons: good service, great prices, homey ambiance, and deliciousfood. You won't get closer to Mexican homecooking than this place. The three of us had coffee, breakfast and their chips, salsa, guacamole appetizer for $39. I only wish that their location was easier to get to. It's a bit hidden behind a laundromat with a small parking area tucked away. Also, the salsa was so amazing but the initial portion was too small. We asked for seconds and thirds. This place has made it to our regular spot list. We'll be back I'm sure.
